The Gray Organ, built between 1815 and 1820. Berlin, Germany [4k]

"An English master instrument of the early 19th century

For lovers of historical organs, the Berlin Musical Instrument Museum offers a special attraction: a three-manual slider chest organ with a return positive from the famous London organ building company Gray. It was built between 1815 and 1820 - probably by John Gray - for a church in Bathampton near Bath in Somerset. The organ has 24 registers, the disposition consists of main, choir and swell, each with a range of C-f''', plus a subsequently expanded pedal (C-f'), couplings and playing aids. The organ was expertly restored by the E. F. Walcker company and revoiced in a historical manner, as was the neo-Gothic case, using the well-preserved Rückpositiv as a model.

With the soft sound of its wide-scaled pipes, the Gray organ is entirely in the Baroque tradition that characterizes organ building in conservative England in the early 19th century." - https://www.simpk.de/museum/sammlung/hoehe points-der -exhibition.html#c24530
