"Guarajuba beach is a beach located in the state of Bahia, Brazil. It is located in the homonymous neighborhood of Guarajuba, belonging to the district of Monte Gordo, Camaçari, about 42 kilometers from Salvador via the BA-099 highway (popularly known as Linha Verde, or Estrada do Coco).[1]
The beach is today[2] one of the most frequented on the north coast of Bahia, with many stalls selling drinks and food, traditional restaurants serving Bahian cuisine, and high-end hotels, such as Vila Galé Marés.[3]
The region is home to the Lagoas de Guarajuba Environmental Protection Area,[4] which overlaps with another in some areas; the APA Litoral Norte da Bahia.
